Revel has long been known for pushing the boundaries of craft beer, offering an ever-evolving lineup of rare and sought-after brews that you won’t find anywhere else. As the brewery moves into its next phase, it remains committed to quality, consistency, and innovation; proving that change can be an opportunity for growth.
After years of dedication to Revel, former Head Brewer Matt Cuthbert has made the difficult decision to relocate south with his family and to pursue his passion for hops at the source. His legacy continues through the hands of his trusted brewing team who are thrilled about the endless opportunities to come.
Taking the reins as Head Brewer is Dean “Dino” Smith, who has been an integral part of the Revel family. Stepping into the role, he’s focused on refining and perfecting Revel’s craft.
“For me, it’s all about continuous improvement. Nailing the 1%ers, ensuring consistency, and upholding the quality our drinkers expect. At the end of the day, we’re only as good as our last beer.”
Joining Dino is newly appointed Senior Brewer Becky Centeno, whose expertise and fresh perspective bring an exciting edge to the team. “I joined Revel to help take things to the next level; enhancing consistency, refining quality, and strengthening sensory management,” she says. “My goal is to see Revel recognised on a whole new level in the Australian beer scene.”
With Becky’s knowledge and Dino’s leadership, Revel is entering a bold new chapter; one that honours its roots while looking ahead to the future. Fans can expect the same great beers they know and love, but with a renewed focus on quality, innovation, and pushing boundaries.
To those who have followed Revel’s journey, the team extends a heartfelt thank you for the continued support. With a renewed focus and fresh energy, Revel is excited to take its community along for the ride as they enter a bold new chapter; brewing bigger, better, and more exciting beers than ever before.
