The heart of Revel began and will forever remain in Oxford St Bulimba. In 2016, Jay Neven, the Founder and Director, first tabled the idea of bringing independent craft brewing back to the community due to his love of Bulimba’s brewing heritage, home made wood-fired pizza, and home brewing craft beer!
Within a year, Jay had written a business case and recruited a small collection of close friends to band together and bring to life the now established Revel Brewing Company where we produce some of the finest independent craft beers, wood-fired pizzas, and authentic Italian hand-made pasta!
Brewing in Bulimba dates back to the early 20th century where ‘Eagle brewing’ produced ales for the local community and activation of that history is integral in what we are about at Revel.
At Revel, we love our community and we are thrilled to be able to grow our small brewery in a way that is re-activating a piece of Brisbane’s history.
